Author Guidelines
The Journal of Indonesia Scientific Society (JISS) invites researchers, academics, and practitioners to submit original and high-quality manuscripts that have not been previously published or are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions must be written in clear and concise academic English and adhere to the journal’s scope and ethical standards.
Manuscripts should be prepared using the standard scientific structure, including: title, abstract, keywords, introduction, methods, results and discussion, conclusion, and references. The abstract should clearly state the purpose of the study, methodology, key findings, and implications, with a length of approximately 150–250 words. Authors are encouraged to provide 3–5 relevant keywords to enhance the discoverability of their work.
All submissions must follow the formatting guidelines provided by JISS and use a consistent citation style (e.g., APA, IEEE, or Harvard, depending on journal policy). References should primarily consist of recent and reputable sources, with a strong emphasis on international journal articles.
JISS employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published works. Therefore, authors must remove all identifying information from the manuscript to maintain anonymity during the review process.
The journal strictly adheres to publication ethics standards. Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work, proper citation of sources, and avoidance of plagiarism. All manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism detection software, and submissions with high similarity indices may be rejected.
By submitting to JISS, authors agree to comply with the journal’s policies regarding publication ethics, copyright, and open access. Accepted articles will be published online and made freely accessible to the global community.
